Too cryptic, to the point that the whole thing is just a bit silly.

A bit too clever but also wrong - a hundredweight is not a ton. There are 20 hundredweight in a ton😫

I'm no cricket expert but in score terms it should either be century and half century or 50 and 100 ...... not a mix of both? Also, slightly picky but 'snakes effect' is either back spaces or down - have never seen a game where only go back 1 space or stay on the same row!
