Nice wall, but easy

Nice grid with a good mix of solutions. I didn't find it *that* easy, which probably means I need to brush up on my general knowledge. Pity there were no red herrings for the "Mercury" group (unless I overlooked something).

Learnt a couple of new things from the answers, which is always fun. Thanks!

Shame the animals weren't all at the start of the words. Beaches was a lovely group
