Alas, nine of the symbols show on my screen as plain rectangles, and others think too have been scrambled. How does a triangle symbolise 'land'?

Worked perfectly for me! A couple of the rebuses were a bit strained, but overall a fun grid!

Brilliant - I sort of knew what was going on and even most of the categories but couldn't quite unpick it.

One plea - please (and everyone else) accept 'pop groups'. I belong to a generation for which a 'band' is a large group of musicians

Really fun.

My main complaint: the emojis are very small, even with a decent sized grid on my laptop screen. It was tricky to figure out what some of them were.

My secondary complaint: 'ice land' is a stretch, it was not clear at all that this was ice, for starters.

My admission: while I had pondered 'bands' when I saw the possibility of 'the eagles', I failed to decipher any of the others, and became convinced that another one was "the war of the roses" and thus couldn't figure out how the rest of that group connected to 'wars' hahahaa
