Couple of good red herrings here. Failed to catch "songs" and "coming together" for the link guesses on 3 and 4, but maybe those were not specific enough...

Not a bad grid, managed to get all the groupings and connections, but I would expand some of the group terms you permit. For example, always use the word synonyms. You have two groups of synonyms so I typed it for both of them and it didnt give me either!
I think you should accept songs for the power ballads too.
I say this as I actually managed to work everything out but it only gave me 4/10!
As for the guy Jesus above, his comment makes me think he was not smart enough for this grid!
