Nice but "valet" should be "vale" and that stumped me a bit. Good connections though and the anagrams were well hidden - only just got them 30 seconds before the end.

First 4 were relatively easy and I'm still not sure of the link with Valet, Village, Athletics and the other one is...Good quality.

The words Valet, Village, Oriental and Athletics all have English Football team names (or more precisely English Football team suffixes) hidden within them:
Port VALE, Aston VILLA, Leyton ORIENT and Oldham ATHLETIC.
Maybe a little obscure with hindsight.
