Things just being homophones isn't really a good group. They really need to be homophones of a specific thing.

Well said Dodger, thank you. No harm in constructive feedback, but keep it kind. I agree that it would be preferable to have a linking meaning to the homophones group, but you're by no means the first to have a group that are linked by being all one type of word- palindromes, semordnilaps, anagrams of each other- if this is your first or nearly first go I'd say it's a good effort and you can only get better with practice- keep it up and don't be put off by trolls :)
