Great quiz bro!

Can't believe I missed the Dickens characters but got the celebrity chefs. Really worried what that says about me :-)

Difficulty level just right, maybe slightly easy. (Unlike too many here which I find much harder than actual Only Connect grids.) Also, the words themselves gave clues to the groups, which is a plus - I'm growing to dislike grids with 16 random common words, as they are so difficult to get started with.

I agree, a grid needs something that's an "in" to start off.
This one was nice with Barnaby that could only mean one thing

Lovely grid. Managed to complete it with very little knowledge of TV chefs.
Once I got past Barnaby being a Tom, a John, a Chief Inspector, a bear from CBeebies, or a community in New Brunswick, I was home free.
