Nice grid Val. Not keen on the word group in that, while what you have is true, so is adding an ‘s’. I don’t think the change is tight or subject specific enough to work ideally. Other than that, enjoyed it. Thank you :-)

What's BinDipper on about? You could argue on most groups you didn't get the answer right to, on any grid across this site, that "you could add s" and it still be correct in your own tiny mind. It would hardly represent a challenge for a hard grid though would it?

It's specifically a word puzzle. Why would pluralising a word be less valid as a correct answer than adding ise?
But the thing is, that's just my opinion. I put it politely to the setter. How's your attitude?

My attitude is just fine, I don't understand why you seek to undermine what is a pretty solid bit of work on Val Crow's part with a weak argument. It just felt a bit passive aggressive is all.
