Yeah decent enough grid - one quibble - perhaps more of a request - please don't do a synonyms link without using 'synonym' as an answer criterion. Otherwise thanks!

Chew doesn't fit in the group for the same reason Jime has mentioned. Also Masticate doesn't really fit into the group as it doesn't fit with the answer - you can masticate without swallowing (gum for example).
