Ok grid, but I don't know what answers are expected to get some of the links. Didn't accept animal for the animal group, or state for the state group..

It's my first attempt so according to the guidelines I would have expected state to be accepted as I'd entered states as the answer, but animal was not a correct answer for the other group. Thanks for the feedback :-)

Very enjoyable. Difficult though, I only got 4/10. The India group was genius.

Great first grid - especially India (which I didn't get). A tip, don't enter plurals as answer... if you put state, it will accept states, but not the other way round. For example, you can put 'comed' and it will accept comedy/comedian/comedienne. Nice red herring with Scales, etc.
