Great. But how long do we have to tolerate this slavish genuflection to American "culture" ( eg. Marvel comix/ X Men / last names for sports teams/ state capitals/ Oscar winners / Simpsons / Presidents et al?)

Darkness 11/11: Probably most gridders on here are American? I'm not but Just saying.

So many grid are impossible for me because it's things like "stops on the London underground", "English Football coaches", "British comedian/sitcoms" It's a bit rich to complain about too much of an American Influence. Especially when, unlike the UK, US made culture manages to spread to most English speaking countries.

Wonderful grid - I absolutely loved the quark shadow group.
