I thought saw thumb was a joke ....a deliberate mistake because of the errors in the grid?

Fair point about the kimono one (I'd just been drooling over gorgeous antique kimonos on eBay, so they were obviously still on my mind). Re: Denim, I never said they were famous! But they *are* well known enough to have had Guardian articles written about them and for original records to go for silly sums of cash amongst hardened music nerds. I deliberately chose a varied selection of groups so as not to make it too obvious. I'll take the constructive criticism on board though - this is only my second grid, after all!
